Who are the courses for?

Kent International Piano Courses are for pianists of all ages and are divided into three groups depending on standard.

Intermediate: Grades 1 – 5. Comprising of three days guidance by top county and London tutors with festival classes included and many prizes to be won.

Senior: Grades 6 – 8. A similar programme to the above, tailored for more advanced playing, with the opportunity to perform in concerts during the course.

Advanced: Diploma and beyond. As above but with masterclasses on the final day by a celebrated pianist (selected players only).

Why should I attend?

Kent International Piano Courses are designed to help and encourage pianists in an informal atmosphere. With opportunities to develop composition and accompaniment during the courses, players learn in small friendly groups and an excellent opportunity is provided to socialise with other course members.

The courses offer the chance to perform in both formal and informal surroundings with a concert, prize giving and party on the final day.

The chance to win one of many prizes is available including a further public performance for the concerto prize winner.
