Who are the courses
for?
Kent
International Piano Courses are for pianists of all ages and are divided into
three groups depending on standard.
Intermediate: Grades 1 – 5. Comprising of three days
guidance by top county and
London
tutors with festival classes included and many prizes to be won.
Senior: Grades 6 – 8. A similar programme to
the above, tailored for more advanced playing, with the opportunity to perform
in concerts during the course.
Advanced: Diploma and beyond. As above but with masterclasses on the
final day by a celebrated pianist (selected players only).
Why should I attend?
Kent
International Piano Courses are designed to help and encourage pianists in an
informal atmosphere. With opportunities to develop composition and
accompaniment during the courses, players learn in small friendly groups and an
excellent opportunity is provided to socialise with other course members.
The courses
offer the chance to perform in both formal and informal surroundings with a
concert, prize giving and party on the final day.
The chance to
win one of many prizes is available including a further public performance for
the concerto prize winner.

Are the courses
residential?
No. However
if you would like assistance in finding suitable accommodation we will happily
email you a list of local B&B’s and hotels. There is a canteen available on
site which will sell drinks, sandwiches and other light snacks during the day.
