Each year at KIPC, our prizes are awarded by special guests after the Final Concert.

This year we are very pleased to announce that the prizes will be presented by the Mayor of Sevenoaks, the Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling, the Mayor of Tunbridge Wells and the Technical Manager of Steinway UK.

The Concerto Prize

The Concerto Prize is supported by the Southampton Concert Orchestra

Southampton Concert Orchestra is delighted to be working in partnership with the Kent International Piano Course by offering a performance opportunity to the Concerto Prize winner.

The orchestra is one of the leading orchestras in the south and has developed a strong reputation for inspirational programming, alongside its work with aspiring young musicians.  Made up of talented amateurs, music teachers and professional musicians, the orchestra has developed an enviable reputation for music making in the South.

Paul Ingram, Artistic and Music Director says: “I am very much looking forward to welcoming the prize winner to rehearse and perform with the orchestra.  It’s very important to this orchestra, and to me personally, to enable our future soloists the performance opportunities to help them enhance their careers.  We look forward to working with Madeleine Brown on 18 March 2023, and all future prize winners.”
